Anew Ranked Battles season is coming, offering Trainers an opportunity to sharpen and test their skills. Pokémon Legends: Z-A Ranked Battles Season 10 runs from Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 11:00 p.m. PDT to Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 6:59 p.m. PDT. During this period, these four-player, real-time online battles will have you challenging Trainers from around the world. To learn the basics of Ranked Battles, check out our Ranked Battles Startup Guide. When you compete, you’ll earn points based on your performance, which will raise your rank. You’ll start off at Rank Z, and you can be promoted all the way to the ultimate Rank A.
There are three types of rewards for Ranked Battles: battle rewards, promotion rewards, and season rewards. You’ll receive battle rewards at the end of each battle (regardless of your performance), and promotion rewards are earned when you advance to the next rank.
Mega Stones returning as promotion rewards for Rank Y through Rank S include Greninjite, Delphoxite, Chesnaughtite, Baxcalibrite, Sceptilite, Swampertite, and Blazikenite stones, respectively. Even if you’re new to Ranked Battles, this is your opportunity to earn Mega Stone rewards!
The final type of reward is season rewards, which are based on the ranking at which you finish when the season concludes. The full list of these rewards is below.
Eligible Pokémon
Eligible Pokémon for Ranked Battles Season 10 include Lumiose Pokédex No. 001–227 and 231 and Hyperspace Pokédex No. 001–127, 131, and 132. You can register Pokémon from Lv. 1 to Lv. 100, but all Pokémon will automatically be set to Lv. 50 during battles. No more than one Pokémon with the same Pokédex number may be used.
Held Items
Pokémon are allowed to hold items, though no duplicate held items are allowed.

How to Start a Ranked Battle
To start a Ranked Battle, follow these steps:
- Launch your Pokémon Legends: Z-A game.
- Press the X Button to open the main menu.
- Select Link Play.
- Select Ranked Battles.
How to Receive In-Game Season Rewards
You will need to finish at least one match during Ranked Battles Season 10 to be eligible for season rewards at the end of the season. To receive your in-game season rewards, follow these steps:
- After the season has ended, launch your Pokémon Legends: Z-A game.
- Press the X Button to open the main menu.
- Select Link Play.
- Select Ranked Battles.
